Jewelry Care
LAST ON, FIRST OFF: The golden rule to follow to ensure your handmade jewelry lasts for years to come:
- Avoid wearing while showering, swimming, or exercising.
- Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals, humidity, perfumes, creams, and oils that may expedite tarnishing and cause stones to lose their natural radiance.
- Natural Gemstones: Since many natural gemstones are fragile, be sure to steer clear of hot water, harsh chemicals, and cleaning products. To maintain your gemstones, wipe them with a clean, soft, damp cloth after wearing to extend their lifespan.
- Pearls: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean your pearls and preserve their natural luster.
- Storage: Keep your pieces away from extreme temperatures, humidity, or sunlight. Store in a soft pouch or jewelry case in a cool, dry place, separate from other metal jewelry.
